Thankful Cards with Toner Card Fronts & Deco Foil

by Shemaine Smith on November 21, 2025
Hello Therm-O-Web friends! Shemaine here sharing a fun way to step up your cards with Deco Foil Transfer Foils and Toner Card Fronts. Making cards for friends and family is a personal way to share your feelings. For me a handmade card lets me know the sender really cares because they took the time to create the card by hand. For the first card, I am pairing our Color Harmony transfer foils, Shades of Orange, along with our toner card fronts. Next, using an embossing folder, I ran the foiled toner card front through my embossing machine. I think the result creates great texture for the background of my card. Next, I used some of Gina K's Foil-Mates and our Gold Shattered Glass transfer foil. Then, using some leaf dies, I cut and inked them. I adhered the embossed toner card front to the front of a A2-sized card with our Memory tape runner XL. Then I added a die-cut piece of clear vellum paper and used it as a base to create my sentiment and embellish it with the leaves. The result is a colorful display. For the second card, I used the Coral Watercolor transfer foil with a toner card front. I then embossed the toner card front the same as the first card. Using a cover die from Pinkresh, I added some clear vellum to the back and adhered it over the embossed toner card front for a peek a boo image. Then I layered the die-cut leaves. Next I die cut my sentiment and inked it to match the leaves. The finished card needed some bling, so I added some gems. Therm-O-Web products:
