Hello crafty friends, it’s Ellen here! Today I'm sharing a fun and cheerful project featuring two adorable cards and two matching gift tags created with Therm O Web Toner Card Fronts and Plush Papers. I love combining shiny foil with the soft texture of Plush Papers to create projects that are full of dimension and personality.
I started by foiling four different Toner Cards (Love All Ways, Smitten andEndless Love) using a beautiful specialty foil with a subtle star pattern (Dazzling Orange and Twinkling Pink). The tiny stars add just the right amount of sparkle, catching the light beautifully while giving the backgrounds a unique and elegant finish.
Next, I moved on to creating the sweet koalas.
To give them extra dimension, I adhered the Plush Papers (Pine Green, Pink Carnation, Soft Stone)to foam (Deco Foil Foam Adhesive Sheets)before die-cutting the images. This adds wonderful depth and makes the koalas really pop against the foiled backgrounds.
Once everything was assembled, I added soft ink blending to the Plush Papers. A little bit of shading makes such a difference!
It enhances the fluffy texture and gives the koalas a much more dimensional and realistic look.I finished the designs with colorful flowers, glitter hearts, and a few sparkling gems for some extra shine.
To complete the set, I created two coordinating gift tags. They're perfect for adding a special handmade touch to a gift and coordinate beautifully with the cards.
Finally, I included a photo of two of the essential supplies that made these projects easy to assemble: foam (Jumbo Roll (White) 1/16 Thick, Foam Adhesive Sheets, White) and Therm O Web's thinnest Red Tape (iCraft SuperTape Adhesive Roll, 1/8 in x 6 yd), which is perfect for adhering all those small die-cut pieces securely!
