Next, I cut an A2 size piece of 100lb cardstock from Nineh and used distress inks to create an ocean colored background.
I then use another Toner Card Front and our iridescent Toner Transfer Foil and cut out the sentiment I am using from Erin Lee Creative's newest release.
I then adhere the foiled die-cut cover over the inked cardstock with our Ultrabond Liquid Adhesive.
Using various Plush Paper colors, I cut the kelp and coral dies and adhered them with the UltraBond.
I also cut this die-cut crab from Elizabeth Craft Designs with the Plush paper and some coordinating glitter paper. I back the sentiment with a shadow layer of vellum and adhere to the card base with small cuts of 3d foam adhesive.
The finished card is colorful and fun with all the foiled accents. I love die-cutting our plush papers. The results are always fun and create texture.
For the next card, I cut a Seahorse die from Elizabeth Crafts with a toner card front foiled in Glimmering Gold From the Gina K line.
Using Ultrabond, I am laying the negative cuts from the first card onto a card base and adhering them.
After adhering the negative cuts, I started arranging the coral and kelp on the card front and adhered them with Ultrabond Liquid Adhesive.
I also added the pearl for the eye like I did for the crabs and secured it with UltraBond Liquid Adhesive. I added the Sean Horse to the card front with cuts of our 3D foam squares. I like that I can trim them with scissors to the size I need. I also added some die-cut shells and a sand dollar that were cut with our Plush Papers.
The finished card is so colorful and fun. The foiled background really reflects beautifully against the Plush Papers.
