VersaFoam Double-Sided Fusible Foam Stabilizer
adds flexible shaping, lightweight body and lasting support to a wide range of projects. VersaFoam Stabilizer also available in single-sided fusible and sew-in versions, packaged or by the yard.

Important Reminder

Always test stabilizer on a fabric scrap before applying to a full project. Adjust pressing times as needed.

Preparation Steps

1. Prewash fabrics without fabric softeners. Foam does not need prewashing.
2. Cut foam stabilizer per pattern instructions. Trim seam allowances if needed.
3. Preheat iron to medium or wool heat setting, NO STEAM, unless pattern instructs otherwise.
4. Use a non-stick pressing sheet to protect iron and ironing surface.

Fusible Instructions

Double-sided fusible foam:
Sandwich foam between two fabric layers, fully covering foam to prevent sticking. Press first side with medium pressure for 8 to 12 seconds. Repeat by lifting iron to new area and pressing, slightly overlapping previous area until entire surface is fully bonded. Repeat on second side.

Finishing

1. Allow fused pieces to cool completely.
2. Sew or quilt as directed by pattern or project instructions.
