Add magical sparkle and shine to fabrics, felt and paper with NEW Sparkle Paste by Jennifer Long of Sew A Story! Available in 14 glittery, glistening shades, Sparkle Paste can be applied with a paintbrush to create freehand designs or with a small palette knife to create precise stenciled details.

Use HeatnBond Sparkle Paste with Jennifer's HeatnBond Sparkle Stencils, designed to coordinate with her Sew A Story Fabric Collections for Riley Blake Designs and other licensed product collections. Sparkle Stencils are sold separately.

  • One Jar: .84 fl oz
  • Adds dimension and flake-free glittery sparkle to any project
  • Coordinates with Jennifer Long's Sew A Story licensed product collections
  • Use on quilts, apparel, home decor, cards, tags, scrapbook layouts and more
  • Use with HeatnBond Sparkle Stencils and all other crafting stencils
  • Heat-set Sparkle Paste on fabrics using household iron
  • Permanent


Directions:

  1. Apply Sparkle Paste to surface. Wash tools immediately in warm, soapy water.
  2. Let dry 1 hour.
  3. For fabric applications, preheat dry iron to cotton setting (high heat), no steam. Cover design with HeatnBond Pressing Paper and press with medium firm pressure for 60 seconds.
  4. For fabric applications, let Sparkle Paste cure for 24 hours. Designs will now be permanent and machine washable.
  5. The durable glittery finish won’t flake off and will stand up to frequent use and handling. Machine wash gentle cycle cold/cool, lay flat to dry.


Tips:

  • Wash tools right after use with soap and water or alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
  • Wipe jar rim and inner edge of lid before recapping.
  • If jar is less than half full, store jar on its side to concentrate the Sparkle Paste.
  • Seal jar with plastic cling wrap prior to recapping.
  • Store Sparkle Paste out of direct sunlight.

Jennifer Long is a Riley Blake Designs fabric designer, quilt and doll pattern writer, machine embroidery digitizer, online educator, and founder of the Sew A Story Pattern Club, Crafting Connections Membership and Modern Rag Doll Membership.

She is married and a mom to four pre-teens/teens and lives on a little hobby farm in rural Prairie Canada. She grew up training to be a professional ballet dancer and later studied Early Childhood Education. She has designed dolls and quilts for individuals, organizations, companies, designers, authors of children's books, and international companies for mass production.

This journey inspired her to make a positive difference by designing dolls and quilt patterns, as well as fabrics, that would EMPOWER OTHERS to sew for themselves! She is passionate about all things FABRIC, IMAGINATION and DESIGN and feels so blessed she can share this passion with others.
