Yee Haw! I’m Two – Scrapbook Layout with Deco Foil and Transfer Gel Duo

Yee Haw! I’m Two Scrapbook Layout by Jessica Michaels Hello everyone! Jessica here with a layout featuring Deco Foil and Transfer Gel Duo to document some fun birthday photos today! I just love the way that my pal, Kat Benjamin, does her annual birthday collage layouts so I started doing the same for my kiddos. It’s a really great way to use up a lot of photos on one page! Then I also had to include some foiling, you know, for festivity sake! Therm O Web Supplies Used Memory Runner XL Memory Runner XL Refill Easy Tear Tape ½” Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo Deco Foil Transfer Sheets, Black Craft & Carrier Sheets Jumbo Tape Roll Stencil Pal, 2pk Pixie Tape Other Supplies Used Bella Blvd EIEIO collection Spellbound Layering Stencil- Tim Holtz Elle’s Studio supplies from my stash Bella Florence Alphas Hot Laminator OLFA 12x17 Folding Cutting Mat OLFA AK-4 Cushion Grip Art Knife OLFA Frosted Acrylic Ruler I started this layout by pulling out a sheet of smooth white cardstock by Park Lane. I then pulled out a layering stencil by Tim Holtz and applied some of the Deco Foil Duo Gel down each side, securing my stencil with some Pixie Tape. I set that aside to dry while I went to work on the large number “2” that I cut with my electronic cutting machine out of white cardstock to use as a base for all my photos. I grabbed a bunch of photos of my son from that month and started adhering them to my number 2 using my Memory XL Tape Runner. I flipped it over and cut the edges using my Olfa tools including cutting mat, cutting blade, and clear ruler for the straight edges. This made really quick work of trimming down my photos and placing them into the number 2 shape. Once my Deco Duo Gel was dry, I laid some Deco Foil in Black over the stenciled bits and sandwiched between two craft and carrier sheets to run through my hot laminator. Out came beautiful foiled birthday confetti! I added some embellishments from the Bella Blvd EIEIO collection and created my title alternating between my Memory XL Tape Runner and popping up a portion with some of the Jumbo Tape Roll. I scattered embellishments all around the layout and added some cute animals and also some Elle’s Studio puffy stickers. I absolutely love how that stenciling and number 2 collage came out! Lastly, I added my journaling by simply trimming down a screenshot of my Facebook post from that day(when he turned two). It was the perfect finishing touch! Watch the Yee Haw!
