Wishing You Joy with New Glitz Glitter Gel Colors

I wanted to use both of them on one card, so I decided to go with a monochromatic color scheme. I paired the new Silver and Brilliant Blue Glitz Glitter Gels with some Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets - White Latte, Blue Sky, and Blue Diamond. I wanted to show off not only the new colors of Glitz Glitter Gel but also all the things you can do with the Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets! I used one of my favorite products - the iCraft 6x6 Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets and covered a few pieces of cardstock and transferred the flock onto the cardstock. This is a super easy process - just peel back the backing of the adhesive and press the Flock Transfer Sheet into it pretty side down. To make sure the Flock Transfer Sheets fully transfer I like to run my cardstock through a die cutting machine. I did this with all three colors of Flock Transfer Sheets. I took my piece of cardstock covered with White Latte Deco Foil Flock and ran it through my die cutting machine with the Sizzix Winter Snowflakes 3D Embossing Folder. I used the same sandwich that I would for regular cardstock and a 3D folder, but because my cardstock is covered with the Deco Foil Flock I'm left with not only dimension, but awesome texture for my background! I created ornaments from the Blue Sky and Blue Diamond pieces with the ornament die from the Gina K Designs Wishing You Joy Stamp n Stencil die set. It's just as easy to die cut through the Deco Foil Flock covered cardstock as it is to cut through a regular piece of cardstock! I used the Gina K Designs Wishing You Joy Stamp n Stencil stencil to add details to the ornaments with the new Silver and Brilliant Blue Glitz Glitter Gel. I sprayed the back of the stencil with Pixie Spray and used a Stencil Pal to add all the decorations and topped off the ornaments with some glitter cardstock. I added all of my ornaments to my card with iCraft Ultra Bond Liquid Adhesive. This is my favorite adhesive because I know that it's going to hold on tight even on textured and bumpy surfaces like my embossed background. I tied some silver string into bows and added them to a few of the ornaments, stamped a sentiment, and added it on top of the ornaments. I hope you love this wintery monochromatic card!
