Winter Cards with Reverse Confetti and Flock

Hi, it's Mona here and today I have a step by step photo tutorial with fabulous Stamps and Dies from the latest release by Reverse Confetti. I am going to use the beloved Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets as well.

Winter Cards with Reverse Confetti and Flock

Dry Embossing with Deco Foil Flock

First I started the cardmaking with dry embossing. Then I used the Blue Sky Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets with the Stitched Circles Cover Panel Background die by Reverse Confetti and ran them through my die-cut machine with the embossing mat. Next, I stamped the Images from the Birdie Buddies and Floral Gem stamp sets with my MISTI to white cardstock. I have used a brown ink pad for stamping. This gives the images a more soft look.

Coloring the Images

After fussy cutting out the images, I started coloring. This time I wanted to make a soft look, so I made a quick and basic water coloring with my Arteza Real Brushes. Because I am going to build up winter scenes, I have used desaturated colors and I colored the flowers on the wreath with brown color and now they look like pinecones.

Stamp the Sentiments

Then, I stamped the beautiful Thank You sentiments to the White Latte Deco Foil Transfer Sheets with Brown Inkpad and run it through my Die-cut machine with Hillside Border Dies. When I was done I started to put together my card with Tape Runner XL adhesive. I also wanted to add more dimension to the colored images so I put on them a quarter inch 3D Foam squares and I styled my card. In the end, I put a heat embossed sentiment to my second card and my cards were ready. I hope you have enjoyed my project for today. I am in love with this soft color combo for these cute birdies.
