What's Your Inspiration?

Hi! Chrissie here and I wanted to share a card I created. I was inspired by Harry Potter! If you know me, you know part of my life revolves around Harry Potter! In fact, my craft room is crammed with HP stuff. And I enjoy the movies (mostly), but I LOVE the books! I've read and re-read them more times that I can count. Supplies: iCraft 3D Double-Sided Adhesive Foam Squares (White), Combo Pack iCraft Memory Tape Runner XL (50ft) Deco Foil Toner Card Fronts - Lots of Dots Deco Foil Craft & Carrier Sheets iCraft UltraBond Permanent Dries Clear Adhesive Pen, 1 fl oz Gina K. Designs Fancy Transfer Foil, Glimmering Gold Gina K. Designs Fancy Transfer Foil, Sparkling Silver Laminator Ink on 3 Watermark Ink Whimsy Stamps Envelope Edgers Die Gansai Tambi Starry Colors Watercolors The Greeting Farm Honor Students & Magic Class Stamps The Ink Road Expecto Stampo Stamps I simply used the Lots of Dots Toner Card Front for the background. Once I foiled it with my Gina K. Sparkling Silver Fancy Foils, I added some red ink to the front. Then I sprayed it with water and flicked some metallic watercolor paint onto it. I used my heat gun to speed up the drying process. Once it was dry, I ran it through my die cutter to get those stars! Then, I simply adhered some Gina K. Glimmering Gold Fancy Foil to the backside of the card using my XL runner. I stamped the image on watercolor stock and colored it in using water markers and metallic watercolors. The sentiment was stamped and then embossed and die cut. The final step was to assemble the card, which I did using 3D foam squares and my XL runner. I love mixing and matching my foils when I can and I feel like this card has the right amount of magic! ;) Thanks so much for stopping by today!
