We've Teamed Up with Our Friends at Brutus Monroe!
Hello friends! It's

Today, I'm sharing a card I created using a combination of stamps, heat embossing and my favorite Therm O Web adhesives. They say diamonds are a girl's best friends, so I'm sure this sentiment from the Brutus Monroe Diamonds stamp set will be sure to produce a giggle or two!
Creating the Background
The first thing you want to do is create the background. To do this, take the Brutus Monroe Heart Lace Background stamp. Ink it up, stamp it onto
Luxury White Cardstock and then heat emboss it with white embossing powder. Next, take Distress Oxide Ink in Picked Raspberry and a foam blending tool. Stamp off the excess ink and then blend it onto the background image to help bring out the design. To keep the focus on the main images in the card, only apply a small amount of ink more toward the center of the card.
Embellishing the Card
To embellish the card, die cut an oval from
Passionate Pink cardstock using the
Gina K Designs Double Stitched Oval Die Cut. Take the girl image from the Brutus Monroe Create A Cameo stamp set and heat emboss it with black embossing powder.
Stamp the diamond shapes from the Brutus Monroe stamp set on
Luxury White Cardstock and heat emboss them with silver embossing powder. Use scissors to fussy cut the images.
Stamp the sentiment onto a strip of
Turquoise Sea cardstock and heat emboss it with black embossing powder.
Pull our your Memory Tape Runner XL and adhere the sentiment strip to the card front. Then adhere the cameo image. Tuck the diamonds in around the die cut piece and adhere the round diamonds using the Memory Tape Runner XL. To give the other diamonds a bit of dimension, adhere them using 3D Foam Squares.
Your card is now complete using these fun products from Brutus Monroe and some fabulous adhesives from Therm O Web. Thanks so much for stopping by today!
