WORLD CARDMAKING DAY
Whether you live near or far there's a common bond we all share today...a love of all things paper crafting and cardmaking. Cardmaking (and paper crafting!) are the perfect way to celebrate creativity with pint-sized projects you can pop in the mail to brighten someone's day. And whether you have endless friends or a few near and dear...it's a perfect day to stop and let someone know they're loved. World Cardmaking Day should double-duty as World Sending A Card Day!

Hello everyone, it's
Ellen here and welcome to the World Cardmaking Day Challenge! In celebration, we're focusing on rainbow colors for this challenge. I will show you how fun the "Deco Foil Rainbow Shattered Glass Transfer Sheets" are to use on your cards.
The two transfer sheets are perfect for a superhero and cosmic theme. I will show you two different ways to use these foil sheets.
Magical Cosmic Card:
Let us use the foils on a comic scene in a background scene.
1. Apply the Deco Foil Transfer Gel with the Stencil pal. Remove the stencil and let it dry. The gel is dry when it becomes transparent.
2. Place the 'Deco Foil Rainbow Shattered Glass Transfer Sheets' (the good side on the up) on top of the background. Put the two sheets in between the parchment paper and let it go through your laminator.
3. As the last step, color the illustrations and apply flocked clouds.
The rainbow stars add something magical to these cards.
Fantastic Super Hero Card:
Sometimes we want to focus on sending a special message.
Let me show you how you can use the 'Rainbow Shattered' foil to focus on the message of your card.
1. First I created a starry sky. I added purple tape on the background of the card base and attached my stencil on top.
2. With the help of a stencil pal, you can apply the Deco Foil Metallix Gel. I used the color 'Black Ice'.
3. Later I created the foiled 'fabulous'. You can get that effect by transferring the 'Deco Foil Rainbow Shattered Glass Transfer Sheets' on top of a 'Deco Foil Toner Sheet' with the help of a laminator.
The rainbow foil makes both cards extra wonderful! I hope that today's cards inspired you. I cannot wait to see what you create.
