To start this project I took a wooden backer and added Brutus Monroe Aqua Pigment Archanis. Then using the Brutus Monroe Neon Aqua Pigment collection I colored the pineapple. I sprinkled some ultra fine glitter on both pieces and let dry. For the 'Welcome' banner I embossed in Brutus Monroe Embossing Powder Gilded.
After this was all dry I applied Rina K Designs Neon Glitz Glitter Gels: Screaming Green, Poppin' Pink, Orange Glow, and Hello Yellow. Pretty much I just eyeballed where I thought it should go. I mainly put in the corners of the squares on the pineapple. Adding several colors in some of the squares. But for the green, I just added highlighting the stalks of the top of the pineapple. You have to let it all dry overnight.
I fussy cut and layered stalks on the top of the pineapple both in Rina K Designs Enamels Transfer Sheets - "Screaming Green" and the Rina K Designs Neon Flock Sheets: "Screaming Green" attaching using the medium-sized iCraft Zots.
To finish the piece off I die cut out Rina K Designs Neon Flock Sheets: Screaming Green, Poppin' Pink, Orange Glow and layered on top of the green stalks. To attach everything I used the mixed media adhesive. Again I let naturally dry. I did put down some weight overnight so it would have a good tight bond. I can't wait to give as a housewarming gift to someone special.
