Tropical Sunshine Card Kit Release Inspiration

Hello crafty friends! This is Amanda from Twiddler's Nook with a little inspiration using the new Gina K Designs Tropical Sunshine Card Kit! Oh boy, this kit is fantastic and makes me want to sit on a beach sipping something yummy! You're going to love it! Products used today: Gina K Tropical Sunshine Card Kit Gina K Fancy Foils - sweet mango Gina K Glitz Gel - bubblegum pink and gold Deco Foil Flock - green envy and sunshine yellow iCraft UltraBond liquid glue iCraft foam tape Craft & Carrier Sheets Pixie tape I started my project by heating up the laminator while I chose supplies and colors to use. I landed on the passionate pink fancy foil included and the kit, paired with sweet mango. I love them together! I took 2 toner card fronts from the kit and foiled each a color - pink and orange. This gave me lots of leftover for future projects too. Next, I organized the dies from the kit and started cutting all my pieces. The flower pieces were all from the foiled toner card fronts and the leaves and stamen were from deco foil flock sheets. I also cut the word and shadow plus palm trees from regular cardstock. Next, I used my favorite UltraBond liquid glue pen to adhere all the layers and pieces together. The foiling is really slick so I did put an acrylic block on top of the flowers for a bit after adding all the layers together. For the background of my card front, I took an oversized piece of teal cardstock from my stash and taped it to the stencil from the kit with pixie tape. Then I spread glitz gel through it. I started at the top with gold and then the bottom with bubblegum. Then I used my palette knife to mix the colors together in the middle. Isn't it so pretty?!? I love how it turned out! Once the glitz gel was dry, I trimmed the panel down to 4x5.25 inches and adhered all my die cuts in place with liquid glue. Using my MISTI, I stamped some birds from the stamp set in the kit around the top of the card to balance the design. Last, I trimmed anything hanging over the edge, added foam tape to the back of my panel and popped the whole thing on a white card base. This kit is absolutely packed full of fabulous products that can create a huge variety of projects. I can't wait to see what you all create! I appreciate you sharing your time with me.
