For my card, I just inked four different colors of ink over the Foil-Mates background and then foiled after. You always want to ink before you foil! Then I die cut some rectangles and stacked them, along with the ever famous doily. That pink foil is the new Twinkling Pink color.
These are a great way to get into foiling if you don't have a laser printer! You just need a laminator, the Foil-Mate sheets, along with some foil, and you are good to go!
Here I used the Fancy Foils in Lilac on the yellow butterfly. I also used what I call "the stamp off" technique (probably NOT the right term!), where I inked my stamp up, stamped once on another paper and then stamped on top of the detail sheet before foiling. This made my butterfly body, not quite as a bright yellow.
