Spring Flower Cards with Deco Foil Flock and Unity Foils

Hi everyone, it's Ellen here today to show you my cards for the pretty petal week. In this post, you will see a lot of flock, a little bit of foil and so much joy! Now, let's get started! As you can see I made two cards and two tags. They are all made the same way. That's why I try to guide you true the step-by-step explanation by showing in between some pictures from the end results. I chose to apply the flock onto the foam adhesive sheets first. For this I simply the pressure of my die cutting machine (flipping the flock sheets with the flock sides onto the exposed adhesive). After that, I did cut the flocked adhesive with my dies. As you can see above I inked the flock a little bit to give it more dimension and interest, but of course, the flocked bees and flowers were not enough to decorate the cards. I used some foil and dies to create the sentiments on my card. I used a laminator to apply the foil onto the Deco Foil Toner sheet (find here a video to see how you can do that). When that was done, I did die cut the same words out of the foam adhesive sheets. I did stick the foiled words on top. Almost all sentiments had an outline, so I wanted to create extra dimensions to pop them off of the card too. Therefore I place the thick foam adhesive behind the shadows (iCraft 3D Foam Tape Jumbo Roll (White) 1/8 Thick x 54 ft). I'm really happy with the daisy cards! It's amazing how the flock and foil bring so much detail to the card.
