Hi! Chrissie here! 'Tis the season of graduations, dance recitals and sports events! I don't know about you, but this time I year, I need to make sure I have plenty of Congratulatory cards on hand! By using Gold Glitter Dust™ Spray, you can add incredible detail, simply, to literally any card! Glitter Card Thermoweb Supplies: GLITTER DUST™ • GOLD 3D WHITE FOAM SQUARES • COMBO PACK MEMORY TAPE RUNNER XL™ ZOTS™ SINGLES • SMALL Other Supplies: Crafy Medley Green Sequins Versafine Onyx Black Ink Clear Embossing Powder Heat Gun Acrylic Block Avery Elle Oh Happy Day Stamp Set Lawn Fawn Small Cross Stitched Rectangle Stackables Dies Waterbrush Watercolor paper Spectrum Aqua Watercolor Markers: Bud Green, Sunset, Aquamarine, Sunflower Sparkle Supplies Project Instructions: To start, I die cut two pieces of watercolor paper using the Small Cross Stitched Rectangle Stackables Dies. I cut one large one for the main panel of my card and one small for the focal point. Sparkle1 I stamped "bravo" onto the small panel and heat embossed it with clear powder. By embossing it, it is protected from the water and watercolors; the ink won't bleed. Sparkle2 Then I gently added a plain wash of water onto it. Sparkle3 I colored directly onto the flower stamp using watercolor markers and stamped them onto the damp panel. Since the paper was still wet, the ink spread out, like I painted it with watercolors! Sparkle4 Sparkle5 I repeated the same process a few times with more flowers and leaves, too. Then, I painted some light blue in the background to soften the harshness of the white paper. Sparkle6 Once everything was dry (a heat gun can be used to speed up the process), I placed the cardstock into a shoe box and sprayed it with Gold Glitter Dust™ Spray. I sprayed it twice, just to make sure it was super shimmery! Sparkle7 After that dried (it didn't take very long, just a few minutes), I added some sequins to the front and adhered everything together. Sparkle8 I used the 3D white foam squares to pop up the front panel. Glitter_detail Glitter Card See how quick and easy it is to use Gold Glitter Dust™ Spray? I hope you will give it a try!
