Jenifer here with you today to share a very fun, super cool zippered bag for you today. I am so excited about how this turned out and I could not wait to share it with you. How fun would it be with a name or fun slogan foiled then fun bits of confetti sequins enclosed. The possibilities are endless. You could hand out individualized ones for party favors or keep some fun ones on hand for quick gifts.

Smile Shaker Zipper Pouch Supplies:

HeatnBond® Fusible Fleece Aurifil Thread Windham Fabrics Meriwether collection Deco Foil Hot Melt Adhesive Deco Foil Transfer Sheets Gold Trinket Case by Fabric Mutt (free) Other Supplies: Erasable marking pen, Iron (Oliso Pro), sewing machine, sharp scissors, other general sewing supplies, zipper, sequins, sheet protector or piece of plastic

Smile Shaker Zipper Pouch with Deco Foil Hot Melt Adhesive Instructions: Print a word or phrase in a desired font or style then trace it onto the Deco Foil Hot Melt Adhesive. Cut out the word or phrase Adhere the Deco Foil Hot Melt Adhesive to the right side of the fabric. Once cooled, apply the Deco Foil Transfer Sheets Gold . After foil has cooled slowly peel the foil back revealing the word or phrase beautifully foiled. Perfect. Let's take it up a notch. Sew a piece of thin plastic (I cut apart a sheet protector) around 3 3/4 sides leaving an opening to insert the sequins. Sew the opening shut. This is the front of our awesome zip case. Follow the rest of the directions on the pattern to finish up the rest of the bag. Check my post here for some more tips and ideas on what to create using this same free pattern.
