Hello Therm-O-Web friends! I hope you are enjoying the magic of winter and the holidays. Today's cards are a fun wintery theme. I'm creating some slimline cards with snowflakes using toner sheets and Deco Foil transfer sheets.
Our Toner Sheets and Deco Foil/Brutus Monroe Silver Sketch transfer sheets help create the perfect snowflake shimmer.
Running them thru the laminator sets the foil so I can easily cut it with the slimline snowflake die cut I chose by Momenta.
Placing the die face down and running it thru the die-cutting machine easily cuts the design.
The die cut is super intricate but the toner sheets cut beautifully.
For the background, I used three Distress Oxide inks and blended them with an ink blending tool.
To add shimmer, I sprayed our iridescent Glitter Dust Spray.
Using the UltraBond Adhesive, I adhere the die cut to my card base.
Next, I stamped the sentiment with Versafine black onyx ink.
The finished card is a beautiful winter scene of sparkling snowflakes.
For the second card. I used another slimline die-cut scene from Momenta. I started by adding lights to my houses with yellow cardstock using the UltraBond Adhesive to adhere the cardstock.
Next, I die-cut the accessories for the village with various cardstock colors and used the UtraBond Adhesive to adhere them. It was quite a painstaking process so if you're planning on buying the die, you'll need to be patient...lol
Using some glitter cardstock for the sky I adhered to the card base with our 3D tape runner.
The houses contrast nicely against the glitter cardstock..
Now I am ready to adhere to the sentiment to the card base.
Using the Adhesive Toner sheet, I added the Unity Silver Glitter transfer sheet.
Now I have a sheet to die-cut some snowflakes.
Using the coordinating snowflake and snow die, I cut several snowflakes to add to my card.
The adhesive Toner Sheets are perfect for small dies. To apply I simply peel off the backing and press them into the glitter cardstock.
The finished card is a festive scene.
