Slimline Holiday Cards with Gina K. Designs

Shemaine here today sharing some cards I created using Gina K. Designs and Therm-O-Web. Slimline cards are all the rage right now and it was easy to adapt Gina products to create these cards quickly.

Slimline Cards with Stencils

For the first card, I wanted to share a fun technique you can do with the stencil from the Stamp n' Stencil Wishing you Joy. I cut the stencil and laid it over the white cardstock. I used an Anna Griffin embossing pad under and ran it through my Big Shot. If you have the Big Shot embossing pad that will work or you can still accomplish the same things with a metal shim or additional shims of paper. Once you run it through the stencil embosses the paper. Next, I cut the paper at an angle for my design. After foiling the retired Holiday Flora Fancy Foils in radiant red. I adhered the embossed paper to the slimline cut cardstock.   Now I am ready to add the sentiment along with the embellishments. This sentiment is from the Stamp and Stencil set.   Using Gina K.'s foam squares I can adhere to the stamped tag and snowflake.      

Slimline Card with Foil-Mates and Fancy Foils

For the second card, I foiled the Foil-Mates background blizzard with the Fancy Foils Sparkling Silver. I then cut it to fit my slimline card base from Brutus Monroe. Using adhesive, I adhere the solid silver and foiled Foil-Mates Blizzard background to the slimline card base. Next, I foiled the sentiment with radiant red fancy foil. I love how easy it is to foil the foil mates to perfect sentiments for cards! These cards were really easy to make and came together quickly.
