Showered With Love Umbrella Card with Glitz

Showered With Love Good Morning Friends! It is Dana here today and I am excited to be back sharing another project with you all.

Umbrella Card

I started my card by creating my background. I ink blended a card panel with Distress Oxide Ink in Stormy Sky and Faded Jeans. I then applied Pixie Spray to the back of my Newton's Nook Raindrop Stencil. The Pixie Spray will hold my stencil in place while I apply my Glitz Glitter Gel. To finish my background, I added Gina K Designs Glitz Glitter Gel in Brilliant Blue to my ink blended panel. Don't you just love the sparkle? I set my background aside to dry and began working on my images. I stamped the ducks from the Lawn Fawn set Rub-A-Dub-Dub and the umbrella and speech bubble from the Simon Says Stamp Happy Days set in a Copic friendly black ink. I colored my images and attached the dies with Purple Tape. The tape holds the dies into place and allows you to make one pass through your die-cutting machine. Here are the Copic colors I used: I trimmed my raindrop background down and attached it to my card panel with Gina K Designs Permanent Adhesive Dot Runner. Next, I used the iCraft Ultra Bond Adhesive to attach my white cardstock panels to my raindrop background. I have found that the iCraft Ultra Bond Adhesive creates a strong bond, and works really well to attach things to the Glitz Glitter Gel. Lastly, I used the Gina K Designs Foam Squares to attached my images to my card panel. These foam squares also have a strong bond and attach things to the Glitz Glitter Gel really well. To finish my card, I used my Gina K Permanent Adhesive to attach my card panel to my A2 card base. Thanks for joining me today!
