Hi! It’s Lisa Ruble from Quilty Zest! I’m in back-to-school mode here - school just started for my 3 kids, and we’ve been doing some supply shopping. Looking at all those pencil cases inspired me to create a Sewing Tool Keeper for my own supplies using my Refresh fabrics from Benartex.
This Tool Keeper holds all the essentials - rotary cutter, thread scissors, seam ripper… and keeps them handy so you can find them when you need to use them. It’s also a great way to transport your tools to classes and workshops - all in one handy place. I used VersaFoam Fusible Foam Stabilizer to cushion everything and keep all the pointy tool ends protected!
I hope you’ll join me in the Therm O Web Craft Room Facebook Group on Tuesday, August 25th at 7:30 pm CDT to learn how to make one.

Here’s what the Tool Keeper looks like on the inside - plenty of pocket space and a protective cover so nothing slides out.

Here’s what you’ll need: (I used my Refresh fabrics for Benartex*)

I hope you’ll join me for this FB Live so you can make your own Tool Keeper!
