In Belgium (where I live), it's raining a lot. Spring really makes us waiting on the good weather this year. That's why I want to send out some sunshines to my friends.
Below I will explain how I created the cards. Both cards are mainly made with Gina K. products made for ThermOWeb.
I started out with creating a background. For this I used masking paper (Masking Magic Sheets) with a circle that was as big as the circle on my stencil (Gina K. Designs for Therm O Web Stencil, Tropical Sunshine). When the background had a purple color I removed my masking paper and inked a sun with the help of the stencil. Afterwards I did stamped some of the elements from the Tropical Sunshine stamp set.
Next I did add the beach, palmtrees and the word sunshine (Gina K. Designs for Therm O Web Die Set, Tropical Sunshine). For the word sunshine I used the Solid black Deco Foil Toner Card Fronts and the Wild Lilac Fancy Transfer Foil. If you run both through a hot laminator you have a pretty foiled piece of paper. You can simply cut it as other paper in your diecutting machine.
As you could see on the first picture, I also made a second card.
On this card I used a lot of the same techniques, so I'm not going to repeat it in the blog post. The only thing I want to mention is that I also used some pretty White Glitz Glitter Gel. You can simply apply the gel by using a stencil and a the Stencil Pal.
Both cards make me so happy, so I hope these cards bring you some good vibes too!!
