Don't Be a Scaredy Cat Halloween Card

Hello! It's Andrea sharing a Halloween card featuring the new Brutus Monroe Really Radiant Toner Mixables and Pewter Ripples Foil Transfer Sheets. I thought the numbers toner sheet from the Really Radiant Mixables would make a fun background for a Halloween card!

Creating a Spooky Background

I used my laminator to transfer the Pewter Ripples Foil to the Toner Mixable. Next, I blended the panel with Pumice Stone and Black Soot Distress Inks. For more spooky flair, I splattered the panel with water, which I blotted dry, and white paint and black spray. Once the panel was dry, I die-cut it with a wavy, rectangle die and adhered it to a white card with Gina K Designs Terrific Tape. I die-cut the tombstone from gray cardstock with Whimsy Stamps' Build-a-Graveyard Dies. I inked up the edges with gray ink and glued the layers together with the Memory Tape Runner XL. Using Whimsy's Grave Epitaphs stamp, I added some details to the tombstone. I die-cut the gate from metallic cardstock with the Build-a-Graveyard Dies and glued it to the back of my tombstone with Mixed Media Adhesive. I placed black foam squares behind the tombstone and gate, added a bit of cheesecloth, and attached the piece to my card with more black foam squares. I cut the skulls with the same dies and adhered the ones on the right with Mixed Media Adhesive and the one on the left with a trimmed-down white foam square. To create the kitty, I first adhered Black Velvet Flock to black cardstock with the Memory Tape Runner XL and then die cut it. I adhered some green paper behind his eyes with Mixed Media Adhesive and attached him to my card with black foam squares. I heat-embossed a sentiment from the Spirited Sentiments set, fussy-cut it, and attach it with a combination of Mixed Media Adhesive and foam squares. Finally, I cut a few ghosts from white glitter cardstock with the Boo Dies and adhered them with white foam squares. Thanks for stopping by! *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.
