Hey there, friends. It’s Ellen here with some glamorous safari themed cards. I love a good shine on my cards and for sure when we can use it with the new products. ThermOWeb released these fun new Toner Card Fronts (Off The Grid, Design Haven, Lavish Lace and Against the Grain). Today I use a few of them and combine them with an older one (Wild Thing) that match perfectly. For people that doesn't know, they are great to use with Decofoil Transfer Sheets to add brilliance. You cut a piece of foil as large as the toner card front and place foil, color side facing up, on top of the printed side of the toner card front. Next you place both inside folded parchment paper. When your laminator is warm, insert the bundle into laminator using the crease as the lead edge. As last you remove the project from parchment paper. Let it cool and slowly peel foil transfer sheet back on itself to reveal your pretty foiled design. I did use different Deco Foil Transfer Sheets (Teal, Green and Silver) on the toner cards. I also added some flocked words (“juf” = Teacher in Dutch). I transferred the flock onto a piece of foam using my die cutting machine. All other elements where applied with the different glues that you can find in the ThermOWeb shop. I hope you are inspired to use flock and foil on your Teacher or other cards.
