Rustic Bear Burlap Christmas Ornament Instructions:

Begin by printing out the bear pattern, click here. The bear will be positioned in reverse. Trace the bear on to the Heat n Bond Lite. Fuse the bear to the wrong side of the plaid fabric. Let cool. Cut the bear out and peel off the backing paper. Heat set the bear onto the burlap. Pin two pieces of burlap together, pinning throughout the bear. Using black thread, begin sewing toward the bear's back and sew all the way around the bear. Stop near his back leg. Cut out around the bear leaving a 1/8" burlap border. Using fiberfill, lightly stuff the bear and then continue sewing around the bear to close the opening. To make an ornament hanger, tie a ribbon in a knot and hot glue to the back of the bear. Tie a bow and hot glue to the front of the ribbon. Cut a piece of greenery and hot glue to the neck of the bear. Have fun mixing all different plaids and patterns together for a cozy rustic look! Mufasa thinks it's a new toy for him!
