Quick to Make Halloween Card with Deco Foil Flock

Happy Halloween everyone! Shemaine here today sharing a fun quick card with Deco Flock. We have so many colors available, including Halloween!

Quick Halloween Card with Deco Foil Flock

Start by inking up your background. I started with the turquoise ink and then the green. I blend them well and then add the Stormy Sky Distress ink to create a dark night look. Next, I cut my dies. The fence and tree are from Diamond Press and the Haunted House is from Gina Marie Designs. The grass border is My Favorite Things. I love using a variety of dies to create my scene. The Haunted house is cut with our black velvet Deco Foil Flock. I applied our Easy-Cut adhesive to the back so I could peel and stick the die to the colored background. I used my XL tape runner to adhere the dies cuts to my card base.

3D Squares to Add Dimension

To add dimension to my card, I used the 3D foam squares to mount the front scene over the inked background. This is to add distance to the flocked haunted house. Now I am ready to cut some of the cute Diamond Press dies. I used the white latte to cut the ghosts and the Black velvet for the kitty. I added some yellow cardstock to the back of the dies to make the yellow eyes and nose. Then I cut my sentiment with yellow cardstock and added the black velvet Deco Foil Flock to the back. I also cut some bats in black velvet and a moon in cardstock to add inside the scene. I finished off the front with some cute pumpkins cut with our orange glow Deco Foil Flock. Start to finish this card took me 20 mins to make. Die-cut images are a great way to decorate your cards instead of using stamps. No stamps were used to create this card.
