The holidays are right around the corner and I wanted to whip up a quick gift for a family member. I happened to know this person likes to sleep with a sleep mask on, so I found a simple tutorial online. I added my own flair with some DecoFoil™ and HeatnBond® EZ Print Iron-On Transfer Sheets to create a special sleep mask.
Holiday Gift Idea Create A Deco Foil Sleep Mask
Project Supplies:
Deco foil™ Red Transfer Sheets
Deco foil™ Hot Melt Adhesive
HeatnBond® EZ Print Iron-On Transfer Sheets
HeatnBond® Fusible Fleece Interfacing
Next, I used my mask template and cut out the outside fabric, a piece of Heat N Bond® Fusible Fleece, and my mask lining.
Next I printed out the words "And To All" on a piece of HeatnBond® EZ Print Transfer Sheet. I used the EZ print sheets for dark fabrics because I wanted a little bit of a white border around the letters.
Next, I ironed on my letters I cut out from the Deco foil™ Hot Melt Adhesive.
Then I removed the paper and added my DecoFoil™ in Red.
Finally, I followed the instructions from the blog where I got the template to sew my pieces together with a fabric covered elastic band for the back.
And now, she sleeps so soundly!
