HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! I hope you had a VERY Merry Christmas!! Mine was made EXTRA SPECIAL as our Family gained another Member!! A SWEET Baby Girl named Sadie!! My youngest Sister has 2 Boys already and Little Sadie is the final piece of the Puzzle for her Family!! I'm SO EXCITED for them and I CAN'T WAIT til' I can SNUGGLE her in my Arms!! DARN COVID!!

Slimline New Year Cards with Deco Foil

Today I've made 4 Cards sharing some FUN ways to use a Letter Board Die Set from Mama Elephant and creating my own Playful Sentiments for some New Year Cards!! They wouldn't be complete though without the CUTE Critter Dies that I've used to create some Deco Foil Flocked Critters!! SURE to make the recipients SMILE as we RING in the New Year!!

Panda New Year Slimline Card

For my First Card, I used the Simon Says Stamp Big Picture Storybook Panda Die Set and Die Cut it from both White Latte and Black Velvet Deco Foil Flock Sheets that had been adhered to the Deco Foil White Foam Adhesive Sheets!! I added some Distress Ink Shading with Hickory Smoke and then added some Cheeks using Victorian Velvet!! I Die Cut the Eyes, Nose, and Mouth from the Black Ice Metallix Coated Cardstock and added some Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to the Nose to make it Dimensional!! Then finished it off by adding some White Gel Pen details!! Then a Deco Foil Bow in Magenta was added for some extra CUTENESS!! I created Slimline Cardbases and then used the SSS Slimline Nested Dies to Die Cut some Woodgrain Patterned Paper for the Base of my Letter Board!! Then I used the Mama Elephant Letter Board Die and Die Cut some Chalkboard Patterned Paper for the Letter Board!! I Die Cut the Letters and created my Own Playful Sentiments!! The possibilities are ENDLESS here!! Thin beyond New Year Cards and ALL of the other ways that you could use this AWESOME Die Set!! I wanted to Highlight some of the Words so I Die Cut them from some Deco Foil Toner Sheets that I've Foiled with some Deco Foil!! I LOVE the way that this helps to make the Words POP!! I adhered everything together using some Gina K. Designs Terrific Tape, Ultra Bond Adhesive, and some Bling Zots Adhesive Dots!! I LOVE that I can pick and choose between these different Adhesives in order to use the PERFECT one for that application!! Bulldog New Year Slimline Card

For my Second Card, I'm using the Simon Says Stamp Big Picture French Bulldog Die and White and Black Deco Flock!! I used Spun Sugar Distress Ink for the inside of the Ears, Nose and to added the Rosy Cheeks!! I wanted to add some dimension again so I used Hickory Smoke Distress Ink to ink around the entire Bulldog!! Then I added the White Gel Pen details and some Blizzard Glitter Nuvo Drops to the Nose to add some Dimension and make it Sparkle!! For the Bow, I used the Negative Pink Quartz Deco Foil I had leftover from some Gina K Designs Foil-Mates Backgrounds in Bold Backdrops!! I Foiled it to some Deco Foil Transfer Sheets and then added the Turquoise Deco Foil to get the BEAUTIFUL Multi-Foiled Strip!! I Die Cut it from a Bow Die and added it to the French Bulldog!! I wanted to add some SPARKLE so I adhered a Pretty Pink Posh Iridescent Jewel to the center of the Bow!! Wiggly Eyes finish off the SWEET Bull Dog!! I created Slimline Cardbases and then used the SSS Slimline Nested Dies to Die CUt some Woodgrain Patterned Paper for the Base of my Letter Board!! Then I used the Mama Elephant Letter Board Die and Die Cut some Chalkboard Patterned Paper for the Letter Board!! I Die Cut the Letters and created my Own Playful Sentiments!! Giraffe New Year Card

Shark New Year Card

My Fourth Card is using the Baby Shark Die Set Die Cutting it from the Deco Foil Flock Sheets in Teal Waters, Blue Sky, Ruby Red and White Latte!! I Inked with Peacock Feather, Tumbled Glass, Barn Red and Hickory Smoke for some Dimension!! I started by adhered the Deco Foil Flock Sheets in White Latte to a Piece of White Cardstock using the Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets!! Then Die Cut the Baby Shark Teeth inking with some Hickory Smoke for some Dimension!! I adhered the Deco Foil Flock Sheets in Blue Sky to a Piece of Light Blue Cardstock using the Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets!! Then Die Cut the Baby Shark Mouth inking with some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink for some Dimension!! I adhered the Deco Foil Flock Sheets in Teal Waters to a Piece of Teal Cardstock using the Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets!! Then Die Cut the Baby Shark Body inking with some Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink for some Dimension!! I adhered the Deco Foil Flock Sheets in Ruby Red to a Piece of Red Cardstock using the Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets!! Then Die Cut the Inside of the Baby Sharks mouth inking with some Barn Red Distress Oxide Ink for some Dimension!! I adhered the entire Baby Shark together using some Ultra Bond Adhesive!! I thought I would be FUN to add a FANCY Bow Tie to the Bottom of the Shark!! As if he's all Dressed up for a New Year's Eve Party!! I used a Custom Piece of Deco Foil Toner Sheets that I created using a Negative Deco Foil in Sparkling Stars and laminated it to a piece of Deco Foil Toner Sheets!! I removed the Film and then cut a piece of Gina K Designs Turquoise Sea Fancy Foils and ran it back through my Laminating Machine!! I LOVE the Striped Foiled Design!! Makes such a FUN Bow Tie too!! Then to finish off the inside of the card I created another Letter Board and I LOVE the way it finishes off the Design!! A SSS Slimline Envelope pairs PERFECTLY and this Card is ready to send some SMILES for the New Year!!
