Hi, Ellen here with some fun things for an outdoor dinner! This time of the year with ice-cream, summer dresses, and warm yellow sunshine all screams for picnics in the park! I'm in a good mood when I see bright and cheery colors. That's why made a picnic set with the Electro Pop line. I made a bag for cutlery, upcycled a drink bottle, and decorated a container full with tasty cookies. For these Items, I always used a mouse (made of flock) and iridescent letters. Also, some glitter gel was used.

Drink bottle

I will explain how I made the drink bottle. The other items are basically made the same way. Later in this post, I will tell you in-depth all items used on all other projects. So let's get started. Flock gives a velvety texture on your projects. First I did cut out a piece of 'Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets' in the desired colors and length. Then I cut a design out of 'Adhesive Foam' (all the pieces for the mouse). I Removed the frond liner from the 'Adhesive Foam' and laid it on the colored side of the flock. Next, I did run it through a die-cutting machine. As the last step, I did peel the foam from the flock. To give dimension I did add distress ink to a few pieces (not shown on the picture). Some elements got a different texture. For these, I used the 'Neon Electro Pop Enamel' and foil. The Enamel may also be applied to 'Adhesive Foam' like the flock. The foil is applied differently. You have to cut a piece of foil slightly larger than the desired shape. Place the foil colored side up, on top of the shape. Place it inside a piece of folded parchment paper. • Deco Foil Toner Sheet;
• Iridescent Deco Foil Transfer Sheet.

Of course, this project needed some extra sparkle. I did use Glitz Glitter Gel and a stencil to get the extra shine. The stencil pal helped me to apply the gel smoothly. Can you see the glitter on top of the flock? I really love that texture! Product details:

I did use the iridescent foil for all the letters. Product details:

To complete the bottle I did put a pink straw, with a self-made bow around, in it. Isn't this perfect for the bottle?

Bag and cutlery

And we need some tools for the picnic; Cutlery. Another fun object to add glitter gel is cutlery. I gave the spoon, fork, and knife a different color. Can you also see the pattern on the mat? You can obtain this by stamping on your flock. Product details:

Cookie Container

The last item I wanted to add to my picnic basket was a little box for cookies. I didn't only decorate the lid of the box, but I also attached a tag. The text on the tag was stamped with a stamp from the 'Sending Sunshine' stamp set and glitter embossing powder. Product details:
