Not All Who Wander Are Lost Mini Quilt

When this beautiful bundle of Camelot Fabrics hit my doorstep, I wasn't quite sure what I was going to create with it. It sat there for a bit and then it seemed to speak to me. The fabrics definitely have a southwest flair and arrows seem to be in every aspect of decorating as of lately. The quote is written by J. R. R. Tolkien for The Lord of the Rings. I thought that it fit the fabric perfectly and would make a unique mini quilt.

Mini Quilt Project Tips and Tricks:

After completing piecing the mini, and making a quilt sandwich with StitchnSew™ Fleece, it was quilted using Aurifil thread 2311. Then using HeatnBond® Lite and following the manufacture instructions, the reversed letters of the quote were traced, ironed, and cut out. Then, the HeatnBond® Lite saying was ironed on to the mini, and stitched down using a straight stitch using Aurifil #2745. And that is a wrap. It has to be one of my most favorite mini quilt so far.
