No-Sew Patriotic Felt Banner with Deco Foil

by Thermoweb on June 27, 2020
The 4th of July is right around the corner so today we've got a simple, no-sew patriotic banner to whip up! Since it is no-sew, this would be a great project for little ones to help out! Other than red, white, and blue felt and ribbons, silver string, glitter foam, and banner and star-shaped dies, you will need Therm O Web's Fabric Fuse, Deco Foil Foam Adhesive and Deco Foil Silver Transfer Sheets.

No-Sew Patriotic Banner with Deco Foil

Start by die cutting the banner pieces from felt and stars from glitter foam. If you cut two different sizes of banners you can layer them on top of each other for a fun look. Cut the glitter foam stars and adhere to the banners and stars together with Fabric Fuse. Die-cut the Deco Foil Foam Adhesive into smaller stars. Peel off the back protective layer of the foam and adhere to banner shapes. Then Peel the top protective layer of the double-sided foam adhesive. Rub the Foil Transfer Sheets on the exposed foam adhesive to transfer the foil. Punch holes in the top corners of the banners and run a ribbon through them. Use the larger ribbon to tie bows and use the silver thread to tie those bows onto your banner and you are done! Easy peasy! Check out this video to see how quickly and easily this fun banner comes together:
