Halloween Fun with NEW Toner Card Fronts & Foils

Hi Therm O Web friends! It’s October, and I am so into the brand-new Halloween Toner Card fronts! These designs are so much fun to create with. Pairing them with some of my favorite new Hero Arts dies helped me create some fun cards.

For the first card, I used the Halloween Mashup Toner Card fronts along with the Gina K Dazzling Orange foil transfer sheets.

Next, I used the Plain Toner Card fronts with the Gina K Fancy Foils Black Onyx foil transfer sheets to help add layers to my design, along with some Kingston Crafts vellum paper. I also used the Solid Black Toner Card Fronts with the Dazzling Orange foil transfer sheet to add some dazzle to the pumpkin die.

I added the cardstock cut dies and a foiled sentiment to complete this card. One of my favorite things to do with my die cut sentiments is to stamp them with black onyx ink and then scan them in my toner scanner. Then I can copy the stamped images and foil them in a variety of colors because the toner copy activates the foil. You’ve got to give this technique a try! It’s definitely worth the toner printer purchase.

For the second card, I wanted to use purple and green. I just love pairing those colors.

I foiled the toner card front with Gina K Designs Amazing Amethyst foil.

Then I die-cut some glitter paper and the toner card front, using the negative image for the card base and the die-cut in front of the glitter paper. Next, I used some fun cauldron dies from Hero Arts to create a Cauldron shaker.

I added microbeads because they help move the contents inside the shaker and some othe elements to add color.

I finished my card designs with more die cuts and a fun sentiment.
