Can you believe the Holiday Season is only 3 months away!! If you're like me that means its time to get some Holiday Cards made so you aren't making them all at the last minute with TONS of other things to do while preparing and enjoying the Holiday Season!! I wanted to use the BEAUTIFUL Gina K Designs Wishing You Joy StampnStencil Set to create a Holiday Scene!! I LOVE Music especially during the Holidays so it only seemed fitting to create a Musical Mug filled with Steaming Holiday Cheer!! I Started by Stamping the Poinsettia Images using Distress Oxide Inks and my Mini MISTI Stamping Tool!! I've used Worn Lipstick, Candied Apple and Aged Mahogany!! Again being able to layer the inks just REALLY makes these Images come to life!! I wanted to add some Deco Foil Flock to the center of the Poinsettia's so I used the Pixie Spray on the back of my Stencil and adhered it to the center of the Poinsettias and applied some Deco Foil Transfer Gel using the Stencil Pal!! Then set it aside to Dry completely!! Next, I cut some Think Pink Deco Foil Flock and adhered it to the top of the Deco Foil Transfer Gel that I stenciled onto the Poinsettias!! Then I ran it through my Laminating Machine and SWOON!! The Flocking adds that REAL Fuzzy look to the Poinsettia Centers!! I then took the Stencil and adhered it back over the Flocked Centers and used the Distress Oxide Inks to make it match the Poinsettias!! Using both Candied Apple and Aged Mahogany Distress Oxide Inks!! Next I Stamped the Holly Leaves in a Similar way!! Using Bundled Sage and Pine Needles Distress Oxide Inks!! I LOVE using the Mini MISTI Stamping tool as it makes this process SO EASY and FAST!! For the Holly Leaves Vines Detail along with the Stencil I used Pine Needles and Vintage Photo and I just LOVE the added detail!! It really makes these Leaves come to life!! Then I took the coordinating Die and Die Cut them all out!! I LOVE to do SEVERAL ALL at once and then I can just use them as I need them to create more than one card as I'm creating!! I inked the Greenery Image using some Old Paper and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Inks!! I wanted the Berries to have a two-toned look so I mixed together Pure Gold Metallix Gel along with some Gold Glitz Glitter Gel!! After mixing it together I added the Berries again using the Stencil that I sprayed with Pixie Spray and added some of the Custom Metallix Glitz Glitter Gel I created!! I added some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops on top once the Metallix Glitz Glitter Gel was dry just to add a little more dimension and shine and I LOVE how it looks in real life!! I used the coordinating Die to Die Cut them out!! I wanted to create a Frame that coordinated with the Flocked Poinsettia, the NEW Ruby Red Deco Foil Flock Sheets are PERFECT for this!! I used the Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets and adhered the Flock Sheet to some Cardstock and ran it through my Die Cutting machine to burnish it!! Then removed the protective sheet and Die Cut it using an NND Scalloped Frame Die from the Frames and Flags Die Set!! After Die Cutting the Frame I took some Aged Mahogany Distress Oxide Ink and inked the edges of the Frame with an Ink Dauber!! I LOVE the way it makes the texture of the Flock come to life!! I Die Cut the Coffee Mug using a Paper Sweeties Die from some Music Patterned Paper!! Then inked the edges with some Brushed Corduroy Distress Oxide Ink!! I adhered the Poinsettia and Leaves, Sprigs using some Gink K Designs Foam Tape onto a Distressed Inked background that I Stamped and Embossed with a Sentiment from Simon Says Stamp!! I adhered some Studio Katia Gold Foiled Pearls to the center of the Poinsettia using some Zots Bling Adhesive Dots and my card was finished!!
