Make a Plush Ghost for a Spooktacular Halloween Card

Hello! Alison Heikkila here. You may have seen THIS post I made earlier this month using some of Therm O Web's wonderful products, including a panel I made with a stencil, Transfer Gel Duo, and Peach Princess Deco Foil. I still had a piece of that panel left, so I thought it was time I used it up, but this time, I kept the background white. It was also a good time to break out White Velvet Plush Paper and make a fuzzy ghost! *Some affiliate links are used in this post. I have this sweet ghost from Hero Arts' Free Spirit Die Set that was going to be perfect for the card I had in mind. You can see in the photo above the leftover stenciled panel, plus some other Therm O Web products I'll be using today.

I cut a piece of Plush Paper for the ghost and a piece of Tangerine Deco Foil from the Shades of Orange Color Harmony Foil pack for my sentiments, which are from the Deco Foil Toner Card Fronts: Autumn Vibes Sentiments. I cut 3 out because I wasn't sure which I was going to use, and as I mentioned the last time, I always like to build up my stash if I'm heating up my laminator!

After the foiling and die cutting, it was very quick to put this card together. I added some orange splatter first. I wanted dimension, so I used Therm O Web's 1/16" Foam Tape in white to pop up the stenciled panel. Then, I added some to the areas of the ghost that wouldn't overlap the panel. I used some Ultra Bond for the rest of it.

For the sentiment strip, I wanted that popped up too, so I added a single layer of the foam tape on most of the strip, but on the left side, I added a double layer, for stability. Please note at how different the Peach Princess Deco Foil looks depending on the lighting and angle of the photo. It's just gorgeous!
