How to Color Deco Foil Clear Designer Toner Sheets Video Tutorial

The Deco Foil Clear Toner Sheets are made of acetate, which is a non-porous surface. Only certain coloring media will work well in this kind of surfaces, and alcohol ink is one of them. Since crafters usually have permanent coloring markers on hand, I used markers to color the backgrounds for this tutorial. Be sure to experiment and try out alcohol inks directly if you have some in your stash! https://youtu.be/DHsyaacCwUc [tooltip text="TooltipText"]Tip: Rubbing alcohol is the only one that will all the alcohol markers and/or inks to dry properly. I have tried this technique with regular alcohol in the past with decent results. Nevertheless, regular alcohol will make alcohol inks feel tacky, will take days to dry completely and won't activate and move the inks as rubbing alcohol does. The way alcohol inks react with rubbing alcohol is what creates all those interesting patterns and that is what you want to get with every background![/tooltip] The best part of this technique is that it won't damage your Deco Foil Clear Designer Toner Sheets or the foiled patterns on it. I recommend that you protect the surface you're going to work on if you don't want it to get stained with alcohol inks. Your hands may get stained also, but you can avoid that easily with a pair of gloves!
