Amanda from Jedi Craft Girl popping over with a little Christmas Cheer! I LOVE retro Christmas Ornaments and I'm so excited for each of the blocks in the Ornament Block Series from Therm O Web! I can't wait to put mine all together! I hope you sew along with us! To make this block you’ll need: HeatnBond Lite, Iron-on Adhesive Iron – I use a yellow Oliso smart iron Fabric – The fabric in this block is O’ Christmas Tree by Windham Such a beautiful line of fabrics by Windham…the gold even sparkles! Holiday Ornament Quilt Block Series Instructions:

You can download the pattern pieces and complete PDF pattern by clicking HEREretro ornament instructions To get started, cut out a square of fabric 12 ½” by 12 ½” (your finished block will be 12″ x 12″.) Next trace the pattern pieces on the smooth side of HeatnBond Lite, Iron-on Adhesive. IMG_5036Cut around the pieces at least 1/4″ from the drawn edge. Place the pieces on the wrong side of the desired appliqué fabric. Heat set into place. IMG_5037 Cut out on pattern line and peel off the backing paper. Position the pieces according to the photo. Heat set into place. Let cool. Using black thread, outline stitch each appliqué piece 1-2 times with a straight stitch. IMG_4302
