Gifts A Plenty Gift Card Holder

My first project features the Gifts A Plenty Toner Card Front and Gina K. Designs Radiant Red Fancy Foils Transfer Sheets. The base of the gift card holder was created with Your Next Stamp's Gift Card Holder Dies.

Foiling the Card Front

Using my laminator, I applied Radiant Red Fancy Foil to one of the Gifts A Plenty Card Fronts.

Adding Ink to the Card Front

I blended the card front with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide. After die-cutting the card front, I added depth to each shape with Pine Needles and Black Soot. Once I was happy with the blending, I buffed the foiled areas with my finger tip to remove the pooled ink (You can also use a towel if you don't want to get inky).

Foiling a Die-Cut Sentiment

For my sentiment I first adhered Gold Deco Foil to a Toner Sheet with my laminator and then die-cut the foiled piece. Alternatively, you can die-cut the toner sheet first and then foil it, but sometimes the die creates creases in the sheet, which causes imperfections in the foiling.

Assembling the Gift Card Holder

Using the gift card holder dies, I die-cut the base from red glitter cardstock and assembled it with Ultra Bond Liquid Adhesive. I attached the foiled pieces to the gift card holder with Ultra Bond, as well. I decided to decorate the inside of the holder to make it even more special. I fussy-cut one of the gifts leftover from the card front and adhered it with Ultra Bond. I stamped a sentiment from Unity's Glimmering Greetings set on the flap with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Flurry Forest Gift Box

This cute gift box features the Flurry Forest Toner Card Front and Silver Deco Foil. I created the shape with Whimsy Stamps' Mini Treat Box Die.

Foiling the Card Front

Due to the length of the box die, I knew I needed two card fronts to cover the shape. I applied Silver Deco Foil to both fronts with my laminator.

Adding Color to the Card Fronts

After die-cutting the box from white cardstock, I measured the sides and top of the box and trimmed the card fronts to size. I blended each piece with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide and buffed the foiled areas with my finger to remove excess ink.

Assembling the Box

I adhered each piece to the box with Memory Tape Runner XL. After creasing and folding along the box's scorelines, I assembled the box by applying Gina K. Designs Terrific Tape to the tab. To decorate the top of the box, I silver heat-embossed a sentiment from Unity's Glimmering Greetings set onto white cardstock. I fussy-cut the sentiment and adhered it with foam squares to a circle die-cut from red glitter cardstock. Finally, I attached the circle to the box with more foam squares.

Snow Many Flakes Gift Box

My final project uses the Snow Many Flakes Toner Card Front and Sparkling Silver Fancy Foils. The box was created with Whimsy Stamps' Hexagon Treat Box Dies.

Foiling the Card Front

Using my laminator, I applied Gina K. Designs Sparkling Silver Fancy Foils to a Snow Many Flakes Toner Card Front.

Coloring the Card Front

After die-cutting the card front with Whimsy's Nested Hexagon Dies, I added Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, and Faded Jeans Distress Oxides and buffed the foiled areas. I die-cut the box from white cardstock and assembled it with Mixed Media Adhesive. I fussy-cut one of the leftover snowflakes, colored it with Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers, and adhered it to a smaller hexagon with Mixed Media Adhesive. Finally, I attached the foiled hexagon to the box with Mixed Media Adhesive.

Finishing the Box

I wrapped some Gina K. Designs White Sheer Satin Ribbon around the box and secured it with a bow. After punching a hole in the small hexagon, I added it to the bow with silver string.
