Hi all! It is Amy from Sew Incredibly Crazy to spread a little love to all those Essential Workers out there!! This has certainly been an interesting time for all of us. For my family, I have a couple of very dear essentials in my life. One of which is my daughter. I have made masks galore for the last couple of months and my daughter has been the recipient of several. Of course, masks can show your personality, just like the rest of our accessories. So here is an easy way to personalize a mask and show a little love to those around us.   Mask Supplies: HeatnBond Lite Sew-In Lightweight Nonwoven Interfacing (If another layer is desired) Oliso Iron Aurifil Thread Small Scrap of red fabric Fat Quarter of white fabric 2 - 1 1/2" x WOF strips of blue fabric Mask pattern - My favorite without elastic is This One but there are many out there.

Face Mask Instructions

Step 1: Cut out the mask pattern pieces. Step 2: Draw or trace a heart onto the HeatnBond Lite. Iron to the wrong side of the red fabric. Step 3: Iron the heart to the top piece of the mask. Make sure it is in far enough so that it will not be in the seam allowance. Step 4: Stitch around the heart Step 5: Follow the remaining instructions in the pattern that is being used. Sandwich the Sew-In Lightweight Nonwoven Interfacing between the two mask pieces (if desired) for another layer. Step 6: Wear a fun mask with a lot of heart put into it!!
