It’s that time of year again when we join the rest of the world in celebrating World Cardmaking Day! In October of 2006, World Card Making Day was born as National Card Making Day. It’s been twelve years, and since then, World Card Making Day has grown from a national holiday, into an international celebration!

World Card Making Day is held each year on the first Saturday of every October, and kicks-off the start of the holiday card-making season. It’s a day for all of us...consumers, retailers, and manufacturers to join together and celebrate the connection and creativity that is the heart of card-making. (and sending!) Today we're happy to have you join us for some card-making fun! We have a new, absolutely adorable interactive card from Larissa that is just the cutest! Plus we're recapping some of our favorite Halloween, Fall and Holiday Cards for you! And that's not all...we have a giveaway as well! So welcome to World Cardmaking Day! Larissa here today with a FUN National Coffee Day Interactive Holiday Card using some SWEET New Lawn Fawn Products!! Happy Holidays Interactive Card Instructions:

Today I'm using the NEW Lawn Fawn Thanks a Latte Stamp Set along with the coordinating Thanks a Latte Die Set!! I Stamped and Embossed the Images that I needed for my Card!! I used Copic Markers to color them!! (BG11, BG13, BG49 for the Cup, E25, E27 and E29 for the Coffee, YG11, YG13, and YG25 for the Coffee Cup and E55, E57, E59 for the Hot Frappe and E40 for the Marshmallows) Next was creating the Deco Foiled Detail elements!! I added Red Deco Foil to some Deco Foil Toner Sheets by running it through my Laminating Machine!! Then I used the Lawn Fawn Die to Die Cut the Candy Cane and repeated the same process for the Sweet Bow that I used to add a finishing touch for my Coffee Cup only I used Gina K Designs Radiant Red Fancy Foil and I used Rose Gold Deco Foil for the Cute Little Gingerbread Man!! I added some tiny Wiggly Eyes to the Gingerbread Man and some Tonic Studios White Nuvo Drops for the Details!! Some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops were added to the Candy Cane after I added some N1 Copic Marker for some shading to make it look 3D!! For the Interactive Card Base I Inked the Background using some Tumbled Glass and Cracked Pistachio Distress Inks, added some Water Splatters and then added the Lawn Fawn Die to create the Table Cloth from some Gina K Designs White Luxury Paper!! I layered it over some Lawn Fawn Wood Grain Patterned Paper for the Table!! I Die Cut the Window and then Stamped the Images onto the Reveal Wheel Base and Stamped the Faces to add a FUN Personality!! The Images are Smaller so I was able to create 5 different Images/Face options!! SQUEAL!! I just LOVE it!! It's SO FUN to play with, and it just makes you SMILE!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment at the top of the Card using some Embossing Powder to coordinate with the Ginger Man and also Stamped and Embossed the Steam and a Few Snowflakes to finish off the Design!! I adhered the Dimensional Foiled Bow to the side of the Coffee Cup using some Mixed Media Adhesive and then adhered the Mini-Foiled Candy Cane, Ginger Man and Holly!!
