Hello Therm O Web friends! Shemaine here today, sharing some fun birthday-themed cards with our newly released Toner Card Fronts.
For the Happy Birthday card, I foiled the Birthday Wish candles Toner card front with black transfer foil. Next, using a variety of distress inks, I inked up the card front to create a colorful image that would make the black foil stand out.I really enjoy inking the backgrounds of the toner card fronts. Some other tips would be to use stencils or emboss them.
Next, I used a Solid black Toner Card front and Love Potion transfer foil to cut out the Happy Birthday letters for the banner on the card front. Using our iCraft Ultrabond permanent adhesive to adhere them. I also used it to adhere the other die cuts from the Happy Birthday banner.
The finished card is a colorful way to wish someone a Happy Birthday!
For the second card, I wanted to make a shaker card, so I foiled the Birthday Wishes present
Card front and then used the sentiment die to cut out the center to create the window.
Next, I used some acetate to create my window and some of the Shaker Strips from Gina K to create my shaker card and added the sparkle. I then cut out the " Let’s party die with our Think Pink Plush Papers and using our liquid adhesive, adhered it to the front of the acetate.
I finished the card with some cute streamer dies cut with foiled dazzling orange and glittering green and black toner card fronts. I then used the liquid adhesive to adhere them and a variety of sequins. We all have those things in our stash and the really add to the card design.
The finished card looks like a party right on the card front!
