Here's a look at the supplies we'll be utilizing for this project.
Trace the witches hat onto the paper you'd like to use.
Using a foam brush, paint some of the Mixed Media Medium directly onto the wood cut out. Then place the cutout paper over the top and smooth onto the wood paying attention to any bubbles that might form. Next coat the entire cut out with the REBEKAH MEIER DESIGNS MIXED MEDIA MEDIUM JAR 4 FL OZ. Let dry for an hour.
Next use the REBEKAH MEIER DESIGNS MIXED MEDIA ART TAPE 1.5" X 8 YD to add REBEKAH MEIER DESIGNS TRANSFER FOIL 6" X 6" (12 SHEETS PER PACK) • VINTAGE TIN and adhere to the wood cut out.
Now you're ready to embellish the hat as you see fit. I used various Ephemera from Anna Griffin to decorate mine.
Now that the hat has been embellished I wanted to add some dimension to it so I used the leftover REBEKAH MEIER DESIGNS TRANSFER FOIL 6" X 6" (12 SHEETS PER PACK) • VINTAGE TIN and applied it all over my wood cut out.
