Next, apply Deco Foil Metallix gel in White Pearl over the stencil using the Stencil Pal. Return access gel to the jar and set the paper aside to dry. Immediately wash stencil and Stencil Pal with warm soapy water.
While the stenciled image is drying, stamp the images using a Copic-friendly black ink onto Luxury White Cardstock. Color, cut and create as desired. Die cut an oval from Luxury White cardstock using Gina K. Designs Large Oval die set and stamp sentiment, if desired.
Once the panel is dry, apply oval die cut directly to the panel using the XL Tape Runner. Layer stamped images using Gina K. Designs Foam Squares to make them pop off the card. Lastly, create an A2 card base from Gina K. Designs Premium Cardstock in Turquoise Sea and apply panel.
Thanks again to Kindred Stamps for the incredible products!
I started by applying a liberal coating of the Deco Foil Metallix Gel in Copper with my Stencil Pal over the Kindred Stamps Brick Stencil. I immediately removed the stencil and washed it and my Stencil Pal. I set that aside to dry and then went to work on my stamping.
I selected the cute girl from the Catcher of Beasts set and stamped out a few images using Brutus Monroe Detail Ink in Raven.
Next, I started coloring. Now I am no expert at ink coloring...I just color to color and do what I like. And select colors that I like together...anotherwords no rhyme or reason and no special techniques. Stress-free crafting!
This was my first image I colored...I was trying to come up with a color combo I like and I wasn't too thrilled with this one. So I worked on a few more and tried some new color combinations...like I said...coloring for just enjoyment for me is how I like things. No pressure!
I colored on that first stamped image a little too soon after stamping and pulled a little of her smile into her face. Not quite what I was hoping for...but now we're onto something with this second one. I wound up coloring a third after finding the color combination I was happy with. Once I finished the final one...I fussy cut it out from the cardstock.
I found I had an AC punch that is a "word bubble". I punched one of those shapes from my Gina K. Cardstock and then stamped the sentiment.
I used my Colorbox Chalk Inks (I love these) to ink the edges and soften that up a bit.
Then it was time to start assembling the card. I found some older papers I had from Basic Grey that had those cute little houses on it. I fussy cut those out and adhered them onto the card base with the Adhesive Runner. Next, I punched some clouds using my two Fiskars cloud punches. I inked the edges of those with Colorbox Chalk Ink in Robin's Egg.
I popped the clouds up with some 3D Foam Squares. Then added the sentiment and my gal who I used 3D Foam Squares to give her dimension off the "city background". Last I finished it off with a few gems I adhered on with Zots Small Adhesive Dots.
