Hi all! It's Ellen with a water project. Summer is very hot in my country this year. We're having a heatwave. It's the perfect timing to make some beach cards...
Today I like to share a card made with Glitter Glitz Gel and Electro Pop Enamel.
As you can see in the picture above I thought it would be fun to play with the Glitz Glitter Gels and mix them together for a unique color effect.
First I took out the Turquoise Sea and used Pixie Spray to stick the stencil on a piece of black paper. I only spread the Glitz Glitter Gel over the side of the stencil.
Don't wait till the gel dries, immediately add the second layer (here Lovely Lavender Glitz Glitter Gel). Be gentle and paddle your gel a little forward and back to mix the colors together.
Be sure to not dip the mixed gel back into the jar. You can clean the pallet knife first before adding more gel.
Next, I added the Bubblegum Glitz Glitter Gel.
Then gently lift up your stencil. This step is magical, you can see the end results!
To finish the card I die cut the word "Happy" out of Poppin' Pink Enamel attached to White Foam Adhesive. The Pearls were added with the Zots Bling Adhesive Dots.
I love how the enamel pops in front of the glittery black background.
This time the Sea Weed made from Screamin' Green Enamel and White Foam Adhesive pops it off from the background.
Of course, like the first card, I used Gina K. Design White Foam Squares and Dot Runner to glue down the rest of the card.
I hope you enjoyed my creations and I hope you will have a refreshing summer.
