Kicking things off Designer Juliana Michaels has an incredible gift set to get you inspired not just for Valentine's Day..but Anniversaries too!
Valentine's Day will be here before you know it and the Gina K Designs New Valentine Love Collection is just what you need to get your Valentine Day crafting started. Today, I'm sharing a gift set and card that are sure to be perfect for that special someone in your life. We'll be using products from the Gina K Designs New Valentine Love Collection, along with some of my favorite Therm O Web adhesives. You'll also need an empty Deco Foil packaging tube and a clear gift box.
Valentine's Day Gift Tube
Begin by foiling a 4.25 x 5.5-inch piece of the
Gina K. Designs Foil-Mates Background Blooming Hearts with
Gina K Designs Fancy Foils Radiant Red. Save the scrap and set it to the side to be used later when we create the card. Wrap the foiled piece with the white background around a Deco-Foil packaging tube and adhere it in place using
iCraft Mixed Media Liquid Adhesive. Isn't it great to recycle things and give them new life?!
To create the tag on the tube, use the largest tag die from the
Gina K Designs Nested Tag Dies to cut out the "Be My Valentine" tag from the
Gina K Designs Foil-Mates Lovely Tags. Foil this with
Gina K Designs Fancy Foils Radiant Red. Tie a bow using the
Gina K Designs Gingham Fancy Ribbon and attach it to the tag with a Zot. Attach the tag to the tube using another Zot. Your gift tube is now ready to fill with chocolate or your sweethearts favorite candy!
Valentine's Day Gift Box
For the small gift box, die cut the "I Love You" tag and the"Hugs and Kisses" tag from the
Gina K Designs Foil-Mates Lovely Tags using the coordinating tag dies from the
Gina K Designs Nested Tag Dies. Trim around the "Love Heart" with a pair of scissors. Foil each of these pieces with
Gina K Designs Fancy Foils Radiant Red. Die cut a heart from Black Premium Cardstock using the heart die from the
Gina K Designs Nested Single Stitch Circle Dies. Layer the heart pieces and adhere them to the tag using
iCraft Mixed Media Liquid Adhesive. Attach the small tag with a bit of
iCraft Mixed Media Liquid Adhesive.
For the final touch, tie a bow using the
Gina K Designs Gingham Fancy Ribbon and attach it to the tag with a Zot. Fill the box with chocolates and wrap a piece of
Gina K Designs Gingham Fancy Ribbon around the box and adhere it in place using
SuperTape 1/2 Inch.
Valentine's Day Card
Remember that scrap of foil from the gift tube? Now it's time to use this to create a Valentine's Day Card. Take a
Deco Foil Toner Sheet cut to 4.25 x 5.5, place the foil scrap on top of the Toner Sheet and run it through the laminator. Die cut this foiled piece with a scalloped edge die or other large rectangle shaped die. Adhere to card A2 size card base made from
Premium Cardstock in White.
Next, let's embellish the card front. Die cut a rectangle from
Premium Cardstock in Black using the
Gina K Designs Nested Single Stitched Rectangle Dies. Use the
Double Stitched Rectangles Dies to die cut the "We Are Better Together" from the
Foil-Mates Sentiments Sweet Expressions. Foil this piece using the
Gina K Designs Fancy Foils Radiant Red. Wrap a piece of
Gina K Designs Gingham Fancy Ribbon around the card front and adhere in place using
SuperTape 1/2 Inch. Layer the foiled sentiment piece and black die cut rectangle. Adhere them together and then to the card front using
Memory Runner XL. Add a
Gina K Designs Gingham Fancy Ribbon bow and your card is complete!
