Hi! Today I used the poinsettias from the
Wishing You Joy Stamp n Stencil from Gina K Designs with some
Glitz Glitter Gel to create a sparkly Christmas card!

I love a classic Christmas color palette, so I decided to keep it simple with a red, green, and gold color combo! I used a piece of
Gina K Masking Magic to mask off the top 2/3 of a card so that I could add some stenciling to the bottom. I LOVE Masking Magic because it releases easily and never tears my paper and leaves crisp clean masking lines! I sprayed the back of the
Wishing You Joy stencil with
Pixie Spray and temporarily adhered it to my masked card and used a
Stencil Pal to add some
Gold Gina K Designs Glitz Glitter Gel to the bottom portion of my card. So pretty! I just love those snowflakes in gold!
My focal points are the poinsettias and leaves from the Gina K Designs
Wishing You Joy Stamp n Stencil die set. I wanted them to have a special touch, so I decided to cut them from
Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets. I used pieces of
iCraft 6x6 Double Sided Adhesive Sheets to add adhesive to cardstock and then transferred the
Deco Foil Flock onto the cardstock by adding it face down into the adhesive and running it through my die cutting machine. The pressure of the machine really presses the flock into the adhesive sheets so when I peel away the flock pieces I have a flawless transfer.
I did this with both the
Ruby Red and
Emerald Green Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets and then die cut the pieces with the poinsettia die and the leaf die from the
Wishing You Joy die set. To embellish the pieces further I stamped the center of the poinsettia from the
Wishing You Joy stamp set and white heat embossed it onto both of the poinsettias. Then I used the
Wishing You Joy stencil again to add details to the poinsettias and leaves with more of the
Gold Glitz Glitter Gel.
I stamped and gold heat embossed a sentiment from the
Wishing You Joy stamp set in the top right corner of my card. For a finishing edge, I added an extra strip of the
Ruby Red Deco Foil Flock where the stenciling edge meets my card with
iCraft Ultra Bond Liquid Adhesive. I added my floral elements starting with the leaves in the background with
iCraft Ultra Bond Liquid Adhesive and popped up the poinsettia flowers with some
Gina K Designs White Foam Adhesive Squares. I hope this classic color palette gets you in the Holiday mood!
