Gina K. Designs Colorful Valentine Cards

Although the holidays just were a few weeks ago..it's that time of the year we're happy to turn our attention to Valentine's Day. There's just something about that punch of red, and spot of pink that makes us happy! Be Mine Card Instructions:

For my first card I created a mixed media background using patterned paper, gesso and watercolor. I added a doily to one side and machine stitched the panel to the white card base. I die cut the circle sentiment using GINA K. DESIGNS (3) NESTED CIRCLE DIES • DOUBLE STITCH DESIGN • SMALL SET and then foiled the sentiment using GINA K. DESIGNS FANCY FOILS™ 6" X 8" • PASSIONATE PINK. The circle is adhered to the card front using 3D WHITE FOAM SQUARES • COMBO PACK. I added some washi from my stash and a strip banner cut from GINA K. DESIGNS FOIL-MATES™ BACKGROUNDS • BLOOMING HEARTS foiled with GINA K. DESIGNS FANCY FOILS™ 6" X 8" • PASSIONATE PINK.

Be Mine Valentine Card Instructions:

For my second card I used GINA K. DESIGNS FOIL-MATES™ SENTIMENTS • SWEET EXPRESSIONS and GINA K. DESIGNS FOIL-MATES™ TAGS • LOVELY TAGS to die cut the sentiment and then GINA K. DESIGNS FANCY FOILS™ 6" X 8" • PASSIONATE PINK for the foil. I used a left over strip of GINA K. DESIGNS FOIL-MATES™ BACKGROUNDS • BLOOMING HEARTS from the previous card and added it to the bottom.

GINA K. DESIGNS SHEER SATIN FANCY RIBBON 5/8" X 10 YD • BLACK/GOLD is tied to the tag and once again, I used 3D WHITE FOAM SQUARES • COMBO PACK to adhere the tag to the card.
