Hey there! It's Katrina here on the blog today to wrap up what has been an outstanding week between Therm O Web and Brutus Monroe.
Today I am here to share a couple of cards with some fun stuff from Brutus Monroe. This was a new company to me and their items are HIGH QUALITY and I loved working with them!
Let's do the gift card holder first, shall we?!
Measure the width of tag and cut a strip of paper 1/2 inch wider than tag and about half the height of the gift card you are using. Trim the intersection at the bottom, to take out some of the bulk. Fold sides in first and then using Mini Runner tape the bottom piece up on the sides.
[tooltip text="TooltipText"]NOTE: Don't run the tape over the entire bottom (like I did here!), just where the bottom will cover the edges.[/tooltip]
Adhere this to the inside of your card/tag. Cut small label out and stamp sentiment then adhere with foam squares.
Color a strip of the white/gold ribbon with the sweet mango Gina K. Designs ink. Let dry.
Die cut the medium label out of pattern paper and adhere to front half of tag. Adhere coffee cup stamped cut out with foam squares onto the label. Adhere the sequins around the cup with Zots Bling.
Cut a sheet of the Gina K. Designs black cardstock in half to create a card base. At the same time, stamp the sentiment with an embossing ink and then emboss. Trim and set sentiment to the side.
Trim down a sheet of the Foil-Mates Background - Holiday Flora to fit the front of your card. Foil using the Summer Rainbow Deco Foil Transfer Sheet. Trim ribbon to fit Foil-Mate and adhere ends in on the back. Then adhere foiled FoilMate to the card front.
Die cut large label shape from Deco Foil Toner sheets and foil with Deco Foil in Gold. Adhere just under the ribbon at the top using 3D Foam Squares.
Stamp the Heart Lace background on one of the Premium Wax sheets with an embossing ink. I used pink embossing powder to emboss, you could use any color you wanted!
Once you have embossed, then die cut using the medium label die. Adhere this shape with the Mini Tape Runner on top of the gold foiled die cut.
Adhere fox and sentiment with 3D foam squares on top of your die cuts. Attach the fallback bubbles from Brutus Monroe above your sentiment using Zots Bling. Tie and bow and attach with a small Zot.
