Birthday Card Instructions:

For this card, I started with foiling the GINA K. DESIGNS FOIL-MATES™ BACKGROUNDS • DOTS & STRINGS with GINA K. DESIGNS FANCY FOILS™ 6" X 8" • WILD LILAC. Next, I used some Tattered Angels glimmer mist and spritzed the GINA K. DESIGNS FOIL-MATES™ BACKGROUNDS • DOTS & STRINGS and let it dry. Then I used the My Favorite Things stitched border to cut the cardstock and mounted it to the embossed card base. I finished with a bow and GINA K. DESIGNS FOIL-MATES™ SENTIMENTS • BIRTHDAY ESSENTIALS sentiment and cut it with GINA K. DESIGNS (3) NESTED OVAL DIES • DOUBLE STITCH DESIGN • SMALL SET and adhered it to the front of the card. The glimmer mist adds some fun to the Foil Mates backgrounds don't you think?

This is the leftover sheet from the first card I created. Place it in the embossing folder and run thru your die cutting machine to emboss. It creates a nice texture on the card base. Next, I adhered it to the card base with MEMORY TAPE RUNNER XL™ Next, I cut the sentiment out with the GINA K. DESIGNS (3) NESTED RECTANGLE DIES • DOUBLE STITCH DESIGN • SMALL SET and layered the dies.
