Hello there! It's Andrea with you sharing a pair of Father's Day cards featuring the new and adorable Laura Kelly Collection. I love the new Laura Kelly line: The designs are super cute and whimsical and lend themselves perfectly for cards from kids!

Foiling Toner Sheets

For my backgrounds I used the Toner Sheets and Deco Foil Transfer Sheets from the Laura Kelly collection. I used Berry Purple with Spotty Dots, Sunshine Yellow with Sprinkled Stripes, Wagon Red with Sweet Swirls, and Denim Jeans Blue with Chunky Checks.

Father's Day Card from Boy

For the boy card, I kept things pretty simple. I trimmed the Sweet Swirls sheet and adhered strips of red glitter paper to each side with the Ultra Bond Adhesive Pen. After cutting two strips from the Chunky Checks sheet, I adhered them to a white card with the Memory Tape Runner XL. I attached the Sweet Swirls piece with the tape runner, as well. I colored those fun images from the Me & My Peeps stamp set with Copics and cut them out. I attached the images with the new 3D Foam Squares. I die-cut a banner from black cardstock and heat-embossed a sentiment from Me & My Peeps. I attached the banner with 3D Foam Squares and finished with some jewels adhered with the Ultra Bond Adhesive Pen.

Father's Day Card from Girl

I used the same father image as the first card and added a cute girl. Again, I colored both images with Copics.

Ink-Blending on Foiled Toner Sheets

It's super easy to add color to the Toner Sheets. To color mine I blended the Spotty Dots one with Wilted Violet Distress Oxide and the Sprinkled Stripes sheet with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide. I buffed both panels with a paper towel to remove the ink from the foil. I die-cut the Spotty Dots sheet and adhered it to a white card with the Memory Tape Runner XL. After trimming a strip of the striped sheet, I attached it with the tape runner. I blended the center of a white circle with Squeezed Lemonade and added it to my card with 3D Foam Squares, popping up my colored images on top. I stamped a sentiment from Me & My Peeps onto a banner and popped it up, as well. I applied Sunshine Yellow Foil to Deco Foil Foam Adhesive and die-cut "DAD" from it. To finish the card, I adhered jewels with the Ultra Bond Adhesive Pen. Thanks for stopping by!
