Family Reunion table decor with 3D Foam squares

by Shemaine Smith on June 16, 2016
Hello! Shemaine here today sharing a fun DIY project with Therm-O-Web's iCraft 3D White Foam Squares. A friend of mine is traveling back East this summer for her family reunion and asked me for advice on table decor that could travel. Cricut has some fabulous Make it Now projects and I spotted some fun Daisies that were perfect for a Paper Flower bud vase and table marker. What's great about these paper flowers is that they could be cut for travel and then assembled when she gets back East using Therm-O-Web's 3D foam squares and easy tear tape and some floral wire. June13gWM   Therm-O-Web Supplies: Therm O Web 3D White Foam Squares-Combo Pack iCraft Easy-Tear Adhesive Tape 1/8 in.   Other Supplies: Bazzil Cardstock: Navajo, Capri Sea and Green Floral Wire and Floral tape Misc. jar Project Instructions: Cut daisies using Cricut's Make it Now setting. The project makes 3 Daisies. June13a Next layer the daisies using iCraft's 3D Foam squares. June13b To create the stems, take a piece of floral wire and poke it thru the iCraft® 3D Foam square. Using some pliers, round the tip. June13c Then peel the adhesive off and apply to center of the daisy die cut as shown. Then pull the flower to the center and adhere with iCraft 3D Foam square. June13d Now we're ready to adhere the leaves together. June13e Wrap the leaves in the floral wire using floral tape to create fantastic life like Daisies. I bent the bottoms of the floral wire in a L shape as I placed them in the jar to make them arrange better. Pop in a decorative vase and add a decorated tag to label the Table # and place in the center of your table. June13gWM Have a great day! Shemaine Smith
